What to Expect

Welcome to FBC Cleburne!

We are men, women, children, plumbers, electricians, businessmen and women, students, teachers, motorcycle riders, athletes, artist, young, and old, but most of all we are family. It is our desire to create disciple-making communities. We do this through reaching people, teaching them to love and serve Jesus, and sending them to reach, teach, and send others.

What to Expect

At FBC Cleburne you will discover a warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. From the moment you walk up to the building you can expect…

A Warm Greeting

A heartfelt greeting is part of what makes a church a church. No matter what question you might have just ask. Our greeters are there to help you get settled and comfortable.

Hot Coffee

There’s nothing like the smell of good coffee (or tea) to warm you up. Our R.O.A.R. Cafe is located just outside of the Children's Area, so stop by and grab a hot cup of coffee ON US!Proceeds from R.O.A.R. Cafe help provide Bibles to females incarcerated in State prisons across Texas.

Fun

A casual atmosphere where friendships can form and relationships deepen. A place that is serious about joy, true joy, the kind of joy that comes from real connection with God and others.

Dress

Come as you are. We are more concerned about meeting your needs than what you wear. You can dress up or down, what matters is that you come ready to worship God.

Conversation

Expect to be noticed. Expect people to say something like, “Hi, we haven’t met before, is this your first time?”. Expect for people to reach out to you in love.

Bible Study Groups

Bible Study Groups (many still call these Sunday School classes) are for all members of your family. These classes provide the opportunity for you to meet new people and to nurture authentic friendships with people who are seeking fellowship and spiritual growth just like you. We encourage you to drop in on a Bible Study Group when you visit.

Worship

We love music, all kinds of music. From hymns to modern praise songs you hear on the radio we use music to show our Lord how much we love and honor Him.

Truth

The Bible tells us to speak the truth in love. The Bible is God’s truth. At FBC Cleburne we seek to explore, understand and apply God’s truth to our lives at every level in a spirit of love. You will find a growing variety of resources to help you grow in God’s truth.

Babies & Children

FBC Cleburne provides preschool childcare for children age 4 and younger during our Celebration Worship Service so parents can experience a meaningful time of worship. We ask parents to keep preschoolers age 5 and older with them during the worship service so they can experience and learn about worshipping God from watching you and those around you.
