Upcoming Events For Children

SUNDAY SCHEDULE FOR CHILDREN

9:15 am - Sunday School/Bible Study Groups offer fun and exciting opportunities to learn about Jesus and God's word. There are Sunday School classes for all grade levels, using age-appropriate curriculum, exciting Bible stories, and interactive games to get children moving and learning about God's great love for them. Children are "checked-in" by a parent and a unique security label is printed for the child and adult. Our friendly workers ensure each child is directed to the correct classroom. Tours of classrooms are available upon request.

10:30 am - Children 4 years and older attend Celebration Worship in the Worship Center with their parents and siblings. Babies and younger preschool children are cared for in our nursery area during this time. After the last corporate song during the worship service, the children will be dismissed with the Children's Minister to Kid Connection where they will have children's church. After the adult service ends, parents will pick up children from Kid's Connection.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT SCHEDULE FOR CHILDREN

SAFETY

We want to ensure each child attending activities at FBC Cleburne are safe and secure at all times. The children and nursery areas of FBC Cleburne are secured and monitored during all events and activities. Children are checked-in using our computerized check-in system. Children receive a label which contains a unique code that matches the label given to the parent. The parent's label is presented to the check-in area at the end of the activity to be matched with their child's label. All teachers are required to submit to a thorough background check. In addition, all teachers and helpers are trained on the church's policies for the care of children and infants. Parents are asked to fill in a participant form with information about each child so that we can provide the best environment for your child's health and welfare. Parents should note any of their child's special needs on this form.

Nursery

Childcare is available for most events that happen in church for ages birth through 3 in our nursery area. Babies and toddlers are checked in by a parent and a unique security label is printed for the child and parent. Everything the child needs including diapers, bottles, sippy cups, and specialty foods, should be in a labeled diaper bag. Children have available to them water and crackers for snacks during events. When dropping off your child please remain on the outside of the room and hand your babies over the half door along with their belongings. When dropping off a toddler please open the door briefly to let them walk in on their own. Most of the time new children only cry a short time when parents drop them off, if their parents go ahead and leave. We will text a parent to let them know if crying doesn't stop quickly.
