Preschool
The Preschool Ministry of FBC Cleburne is for children birth through Kindergarten. We desire for all our children to Know God, Grow in God, and Show God to others.
SUNDAY MORNING SCHEDULE FOR PRESCHOOLERS
9:15am – Sunday School/Bible Study Groups (classes for adults are available during this time) We offer fun and exciting Sunday School classes for all age levels, using age appropriate curriculum, exciting Bible stories, and interactive games to get children moving and learning about God’s great love for them. Children are checked-in in the Preschool Ministry Area by a parent and a unique security label is printed for the child and adult. Our friendly workers ensure each child is directed to the correct classroom.
10:30am – Celebration Worship in the Worship Center Childcare is provided in the Preschool Ministry Area for children currently in preschool and younger. We ask that children who have started Kindergarten and older attend the Celebration Worship Service with their parents. We believe children learn by the example of their parents and other adults. We feel there is no better way to learn how to worship God, our Creator and Savior, than to be a part of our worship service accompanied by their parent or family member.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT SCHEDULE FOR PRESCHOOLERS
WE PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION ON WEDNESDAY EVENINGS! - First Baptist Church provides transportation for children, age 4 through 12th grade, who want to attend Wednesday night activities here at our facilities but do not have a way to church. 6:00pm - 7:30pm- Gospel Light; Children can be dropped off at 5:50pm. At 6:00pm we begin our Wednesday evening program Gospel Light. Our 2 year old's through kindergarten will be learning about God's Holy Word through Gospel Light.
Giggle and wiggle. Run and sing. This is the wonderful world of preschoolers. So how do we teach these energetic little ones about Jesus? We let them play while they learn! Kids will delight in the games, drama, art, music, storytelling and puppets as they learn about God’s Word and how to apply it to their daily lives. It’s as simple as Play. Listen. Talk.
SAFETY
We want to ensure each child attending activities at FBC Cleburne are safe and secure at all times. The children's and preschool areas of FBC Cleburne are secured and monitored during all events and activities. Children are checked-in using our computerized check-in system. Children receive a label which contains a unique code that matches the label given to the parent. The parent's label is presented to the check-in area at the end of the activity to be matched with their child's label. All teachers are required to submit to a thorough background check. In addition all teachers and helpers are trained on the church's policies for children and infants.
